In case some of you didnt get the e-mail that I sent out a few months ago, here are some pictures of the 4th Battalion, 17th Infantry presence at the reunion ... about 35 total .. off and on. There were a total of 350 people at the reunion and 35 lightfighters might not sound like a lot, but it was better than my first reunion (2002) where there was 1 lightfighter (me)

The 2006 Reunion is September 13th through the 16th at Colorado Springs, Colorado. If you want further info on going then give me a call or e-mail me at deshook@7thinfantry.com I'm trying to get together a guided day of rappelling or something like that for us younger guys ... Perfect place to do it and we should all remember a little bit about it.

holy crap! - don just said that some of you lightfighters and buffalos are too old to do "guided rappelling"...so which of you is gonna beat his "younger guy" ass first?! Ha!
(ain't gonna be me - i'm one of the "younger guys"... Whoo! [slap!])
LOL ... by older I mean the folks in the Association that are WWII and Korean War veterans .. however, not that you said something, it would be kinda cool to rig up something with a wheel chair ... a lot easier going down with wheels don't you think?
Holy...wow! Is that Gibbs' daughter who was at the time yet-to-be born?
I may be a younger guy, but that makes me feel old.
Yep, that's her. She's a great kid and it was good to meet her and Kimberly. She's a talented singer and actress in her local area.
