Buffalo ...
In the past couple of years I've compiled a pretty nice contact list of 3rd and 4th Battalion veterans and have offered to send it to many of you. To date, I've sent out this contact list, usually including a copy of an Association newsletter, The Buffalo Bugle to one hundred and twenty five of you guys over the past year in hopes of getting more of you to become members of the 17th Infantry Regiment Association .. out of those packets sent, ten people have signed up for the Association. Each packet cost about $2.41 to ship and I can't continue to afford to shell out cash in the hope that you'll join .. especially when a annual membership cost $11.50 (for the time being.)
I've decided to cease in sending out contact sheets to non members of the Association and will probably be slowing down a lot on projects like this blog and my other site that I haven't had time to work on. Being the new President of the Association has added much more work than I expected and I'm just going to focus on the Association and the members within it. I'll continue to network and establish contacts of Light Buffalo Veterans, but am growing very weary of all the work that I put into keeping us all connected in some little way and not getting even the slightest support from a lot of you .. in support, I'm referring to the lack of when it comes to becoming members of the Association.
If you're an active member of the Association and want a contact list, just ask .. if you're not and want one, I can send you a link to where you can download an application.
Best Regards to you all ...

Okay, were do I sign up?
Membership cost has increased since I first posted this. Annual membership is now $17.00 a year and a Life Membership is $150. You can get all the details, pay by CC, or download an application here: http://www.17thinfantry.com/membership.html
