CSM Carlos J Vega-Vicente 3-17

Picture was taken sometime in 1984 at Ft Hunter Liggett Ca field exercise 3/17. Pictured is Bn CSM Vega with Bn Commander LTC Wentzel also know as Papa Bull or Big Bull. CSM Vega is now retired and living back home in Puerto Rico.

I have also talked with CSM Mac Vereen (aka "the Plunger") who was B 3-17 1SG ... CSM of 3-17 .. and the last CSM of 4th Battalion from 91 to 93. He's doing well retired and working down at the Sergeant Major School at Ft Bliss, Texas.

Here is a photo taken at Bold Eagle 83 or 84 Eglin Air force Base Florida, pictured right is SPC Todd Hollingsworth(LTC Wetzel’s RTO) and SPC Dale Mulhern HHC 3/17 Commo Plt. After 30 days in the bush Our Plt Sgt SSG Francois sent us straight to the barber shop after we got back to the planet. Did we need hair cuts or what?
